I’m not sure if anybody outside of a Girl Scout camp uses that term, but a ‘brownie bite’ is what’s asked of campers to take when they think they think they don’t like the food- usually a spoonful or whatever of what’s been offered. A lot of campers usually don’t mind, but there are some of those that are a bit… stubborn.
I was one of those kids. I bartered more glasses of water at a meal for not having to eat something. It almost always worked. Sidenote: now that i’m staff, I tell the girls that I already tried my brownie bite the week before :| And regret nothing.
